The atmosphere, support and encouragement she has received has been a driving force in getting her to where she is today and since appearing at the infamous Jacobs Ladder for her first open mic night set, Jess realised that it is the stage where she feels most comfortable. 

With a contemporary folk style Jess is now part of the hugely successful Ninoskika, which she has been on tour with twice and has just set up a duo with friend and fellow musician James Bunce known as Jesse James. It is the two of them who will be running her latest venture, an open mic night at her old favourite Jacobs Ladder. 

Jess has also supported the Ragged Trouser Philanthropists on tour falling in love with the idea of travelling and music and Martha Wainwright.
